According to Article 4, Section 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for processing personal data, insofar as we determine the purposes and means of processing alone or jointly with others. We also inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to improve the quality of use, insofar as these third parties process data under their own responsibility.
Our privacy policy is structured as follows:

Regarding the data processing described in detail below, users and data subjects have the right:
to confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data being processed, to further information about the data processing, and to copies of the data (cf. also Article 15 GDPR);
to correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (cf. also Article 16 GDPR);
to immediate deletion of data concerning them (cf. also Article 17 GDPR) or, alternatively, if further processing is required under Article 17, Section 3 of the GDPR, to restriction of processing in accordance with Article 18 GDPR;
to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to transmit this data to other providers/controllers (cf. also Article 20 GDPR);
to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that the data concerning them is processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (cf. also Article 77 GDPR).
In addition, the provider is obligated to notify all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing in accordance with Articles 16, 17 Section 1, 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if the notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has the right to information about these recipients.
Additionally, under Article 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them if the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Article 6, Section 1, lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for direct advertising purposes is permissible.

III. Information on Data Processing
Data processed during the use of our website will be deleted or restricted as soon as the purpose for storage ceases to apply, provided that no legal retention obligations prevent deletion, and unless otherwise specified for individual processing procedures below.
Server Data
For technical reasons, data transmitted by your internet browser to us or our web space provider is collected, primarily to ensure a secure and stable website. These so-called server log files include the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the referrer URL (the site you visited before our website), the pages on our website you visit, the date and time of your access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which you accessed our website.
This data is stored temporarily but is not combined with other data from you.
The legal basis for this storage is Article 6, Section 1, lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website.
The data is deleted no later than seven days after collection unless continued storage is necessary for evidence purposes. In such cases, the data is retained in whole or in part until the matter is resolved.
Cookies
a) Session Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your device by your internet browser. Through these cookies, specific information about you, such as your browser or location data or IP address, is processed.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, as the cookies enable functionalities like language display or a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, Section 1, lit. b) GDPR if the cookies process data to initiate or fulfill a contract.
If processing does not serve contractual purposes, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website, and the legal basis is then Article 6, Section 1, lit. f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.
b) Third-Party Cookies
We may also use cookies from partner companies for advertising, analytics, or functionality on our website. Please refer to the information below for details, especially about the purposes and legal basis for processing third-party cookies.
c) Deactivation Option
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete already stored cookies at any time. The steps for this depend on the specific internet browser used; please consult your browser’s help function or documentation if needed. Flash cookies cannot be controlled via browser settings but through your Flash player settings.
Blocking cookies may restrict the full functionality of our website.
Contract Fulfillment
Data transmitted by you for the use of our goods and/or services is processed by us for contract fulfillment purposes and is necessary for this purpose. Without your data, we cannot conclude or fulfill the contract.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, Section 1, lit. b) GDPR.
We delete the data upon completion of the contract but must observe retention periods required by tax and commercial law.
In the context of contract fulfillment, we may share your data with the transportation company or financial service provider involved, as required for delivery or payment purposes.
The legal basis for this transfer is then Article 6, Section 1, lit. b) GDPR.
Contact Requests
If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your request. Providing this data is necessary to handle and respond to your inquiry.
The legal basis for this processing is Article 6, Section 1, lit. b) GDPR.
Your data is deleted once your inquiry is fully answered, and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion, such as if a contract subsequently results.

Google Analytics is used to analyze user behavior on our website. The legal basis is Article 6, Section 1, lit. f) GDPR, with our legitimate interest in analyzing, optimizing, and operating our website economically.
